Anheuser-Busch: Beer with a Conscience

We are always in admiration of other companies who are taking their corporate social responsibility seriously.  Most everyone has heard of Anheuser-Busch, but not many of us are aware of the numerous social programs they are involved in, including fighting drunk driving and underage drinking.  They have passed the billion dollar mark in those efforts alone!

They are launching two organic beers, Wild Hop Lager and Stone Mill Pale Ale, both of which are made from certified organic barley malt and labeled with recycled paper.

Anheuser-Busch's long-standing environmental commitment started in 1899 when grain from brewing was reused to feed cattle.  Today, they recycle 97% of their solid waste and 15% of their fuel comes from renewable energy sources.
